Wood flooring comes in a variety of different widths.  The size of your room and the look you want can help determine what width would work best.  The industry differentiates wood flooring widths by strip flooring ( 1 ½”, 2 ¼” or 3 ¼”), plank flooring (3”, 4”, 5”, and 6”) or wide plank flooring (8”, 10” and 12+”).
